This is a spare container for the Ecoteco toilet EC2010X. A spare container enables you to remove a filled container and allow it to continue composting without having to empty it. This enables the waste to become odourless compost, perfect for use in organic growing.
If the outhouse is only used in the summer, the composting process may be ready before next season, but with an extra container to hand you'll have plenty of time. Good composting doesn't happen in the blink of an eye, and fertile soil shouldn't be rushed.
We strongly recommend that you purchase an extra Ecoteco container so you can easily just replace the filled container with an empty one and let the composting continue without unnecessary emptying. If the Ecoteco toilet is only used in the summer, emptying in the spring is recommended as composting continues for a longer period of time.
