Grindavik is a cozy sauna hut that, despite its humble size, offers seating for plenty of sauna-goers. The cleverly placed corner beds in solid alder make it easy to squeeze in an extra friend. The sauna's pleasant rounded shape creates a cozy atmosphere for lovely long sauna sessions. Even on the outside, the sauna's a real gem that, with its unusual design, elevates any garden!
The Grindavik sauna hut's available in two versions, untreated spruce or ThermoWood wood. Be sure to order your preferred option. ThermoWood is heat-treated and strong, and is a more environmentally-friendly alternative to pressure-treated wood. If you go for this heat-treated variant, you don't need to treat your sauna hut right away after installing it, rather we recommend you oil it approximately once a year. If you intend to paint or treat the outside of your sauna, the untreated spruce model's the right option for you.

How do I build my sauna?
Prepare a simple foundation by digging out the topsoil, laying a ground sheet and filling with macadam. Then lay concrete slabs and check that they're level.
When the foundation's ready, the fun work of building your sauna hut begins. Start by screwing the base together, then screw the boards into place once by one according to the instructions in the manual. With our smart construction kit and the manual close at hand, building a sauna's faster than you think. Before you know it, it's time for the grand opening!
