Brage is a high-quality barrel sauna with beautiful aspen benches with room for the whole family to sit comfortably. The smart location of the heater makes the sauna suitable for both wood-fired and electric units. You can enjoy amazing views through the glass facade, as you relax in the heat. What's more, the entrance area is perfect for taking a break from the sauna and makes a handy place to hang up your towel.
Brage is made from ThermoWood, an environmentally friendly alternative to pressure-treated wood. The heat treatment makes the wood durable and able to retain its shape, which means that you don’t have to re-tighten the metal strips over time. The heat-treated wood is also weather resistant and doesn’t need to be surface treated immediately. If you want to retain the barrel's wood colour for longer, you only need to oil it once a year or so. For the parts that are of untreated spruce wood, oil is included to protect the wood on the outside. The oil gives a similar shade as the heat-treated wood and we recommend that you surface-treat the parts with this.
How easy is it to assemble?
Order a barrel sauna already assembled
Order the sauna barrel pre-assembled with convenient home delivery to your doorstep. All you need to do is prepare the foundation for delivery and assemble the heater. Since small parts such as drains, valves and wooden profiles can be damaged during transport, they need to be assembled afterwards. The sauna barrel is lifted into place by crane truck with a capacity of approximately 5 metres from the unloading point.
Please note that the roof is delivered complete, so if you choose a wood-burning stove, you will need to prepare a hole in the roof for the chimney yourself. Should you have any concerns, our sauna experts are on hand to guide you. With a pre-assembled sauna stove, it's quick and easy to get started!
Assemble yourself
The round shape may seem daunting to build, but with the help of our flexible kits, it's simple and easy to construct. The barrel base is easily screwed together according to the instructions in the manual. Then the timber sections are mounted in sequence and in no time at all the sauna is ready!
